About Me

Hola!

My name is Linda Lozano Borrero, a young artisan born and raised in Puerto Rico. From a very young age, I learned to manipulate clay, creating pieces ranging from traditional figures to very rustic vessels. I learned all of this from my mother, who is also a certified ceramist.

What began as a way to control my hyperactivity soon became a way to express myself through my art. At the age of 8, I participated in craft fairs with my own work. I continued making different handicrafts while pursuing my studies and university.

LunatiK RustiK workshop was finally born in 2012. Since then, I have continued creating unique pieces, inspired by our flora and fauna, as well as different landscapes and iconic places of our beautiful archipelago, Puerto Rico.

With the aim of promoting our Puerto Rican culture, educating about our endemic species, and raising awareness about the importance of preserving our traditions and identity through our art. I remain committed to continuing to create. Each piece is a reflection of our Puerto Rican identity. I hope you enjoy them.

"There's a floating island full of culture in the middle of the ocean right now. Of course it's called Puerto Rico!" - Linda Lozano
